Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DocBridge (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (and the company you represent, "Customer") and LXCoders, Lda. ("DocBridge", "we", "us"). Access to DocBridge is by invitation only.
2. Description of Service
DocBridge is a B2B SaaS platform that automates the ingestion, extraction, and export of financial documents (invoices, receipts, credit notes, delivery notes) from email, WhatsApp, cloud drives, and manual uploads.
The Service includes:
- AI-powered OCR and data extraction (supplier, NIF, amounts, dates)
- Document validation and approval workflow
- Integration with accounting software via API or SAF-T PT export
- Cloud storage archiving to Google Drive or OneDrive
- Duplicate detection and fraud signals
3. Account Registration and Access
Access to DocBridge is granted by invitation. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Ensuring that all users you invite agree to these Terms
- Promptly notifying us of any unauthorised use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.
4. Google Account Integration
If you choose to connect a Gmail or Google Drive account to DocBridge:
- You authorise DocBridge to read your email attachments for the purpose of detecting and importing financial documents
- You authorise DocBridge to apply Gmail labels to processed emails
- You authorise DocBridge to access specified Google Drive folders for document input and archiving
- You may disconnect your Google account at any time in Settings → Connected Accounts
Our use of Google user data is governed by our Privacy Policy (Section 3) and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process documents that belong to companies other than those registered in your workspace
- Submit fraudulent, forged, or altered financial documents
- Circumvent or interfere with the Service's security features
- Attempt to access another tenant's data
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law, including Portuguese and EU tax regulations
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
6. Data Ownership and Intellectual Property
Your data
You retain full ownership of all documents and data you submit to DocBridge. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. We process your data solely to provide the Service.
Our IP
DocBridge, its UI, AI models, processing logic, and all underlying software are the intellectual property of LXCoders, Lda.. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
7. Subscription and Billing
DocBridge is a paid subscription service. Pricing, plan limits, and billing terms are set out in your subscription agreement or on the pricing page. Key points:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in advance
- Unused document quota does not roll over between billing periods
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
- Refunds are not provided for partial months except where required by law
- Failure to pay may result in service suspension
8. Availability and Support
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be announced where possible. Support is available via support@lxcoders.com.
We are not liable for processing errors resulting from illegible, corrupted, or non-standard document formats.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- DocBridge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees paid by you in that period
- We are not responsible for errors in extracted data that arise from unclear source documents
- AT / e-fatura submissions are never automated — DocBridge does not submit to the Portuguese Tax Authority on your behalf. The customer is solely responsible for their tax obligations.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach, including non-payment or violation of the Acceptable Use policy.
Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days. After that period, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
