Your sector comes already mapped
Most accounting software gives you an empty chart of accounts and the job of filling it in. DocBridge does the opposite: the company starts with the CAE shown on its company registration certificate, and that business’s expense categories are created, each with its SNC account.

Also with their own model: health, IT and software, liberal professions, beauty and wellness, education and training, real estate, cleaning and facility services, manufacturing, gardening and pools. And a services model for anyone who fits none.
Why this makes a difference
1 · On entry
The expense goes to the right category the moment the document comes in, not three months later, when nobody remembers what it was.
2 · With the SNC account
Each label carries the account from the official chart of accounts. The accountant receives documents that already speak their language.
3 · And it learns
The model is the starting point. From there, every approved document teaches the system to read that supplier.
Frequently asked questions
What if my business is not on the list?
You get the services model, which is generic but complete, and expense categories can be added at any time.
Can I change the expense categories later?
Yes, always. The model is a starting point, not an imposition.
Does an existing company get the model?
The model is seeded when the company is created. In a company that is already up and running, the expense categories it already has stay in charge.
Is this only for companies?
It also works for the self-employed who issue ‘recibos verdes’: the activity code under the CIRS (Portuguese personal income tax code) leads to the model for their activity.
